How can i use mousse for straight hair?

i want to style my hair( straight) and i heard mousse was good for keeping away frizzy hair

i DONT want curly hair so i was wondering if the mousse would work for my straight hair?

what mousse should i use?

can i use garnier frucits xxl volume mousse just to smooth my hair down?

or if i cant what is the best product you used for getting rid of frizz and making it shiny? something that i can buy at walmart possibley?
