How to curl medium-lengthed straight hair?

my hair isn't pin-straight nor limp, but it is straight and has body and volume. problem is, i don't know how to curl it without looking like a cherubim! Also, when i curl my hair, it doesn't look bouncy anymore.. instead, my hair looks clumpy and thin. any styling techniques i could use? can i just use a curling cream like garnier curl shaping spray gel and bunch up my hair to get nice, loose curls without having to use a curling iron? i need help :( thanks!

ok blow dry your hair with the curling cream and then starting from your neck curl your hair in sections towards the top i like to wrap the hair around the outside of the curling iron so the curls are less uniform more hip and messy (not cherubim) than after spray with light hold hair spray that you can run your fingers through so it dont get ratted. i like to use alterna caviar working hairspay. for more longer lasting curls sparay each section before you curl it!!!

my hair stylist did this really cool trick with a straightner. so you first straighten only a bit of your hair. then twirl your hair around your finger and voila! instant bouncy curls! spray some hairspray and ur good 2 go!

Yeah use a curling product, curling irons are annoying and wreck your hair eventually.

Try curl shampoo and conditioner aswell.

Use the shampoo and conditioner and go to bed with wet hair, after putting some curl cream in your hair.

For some reason, when you go to bed with your hair wet, it makes your hair curl, and it looks natural and nice.

Good luck.
