A "diffuser" on a blowdryer for straight hair?

So I just bought a new blow dryer and it came with a diffuser. I have naturally straight hair so I'm wondering if the diffuser will do any good or if I need/should use it..(because I understand it's mostly for people with curly hair).. Thanks

I, too, have naturally straight hair.. and trust me, a diffuser wont work. haha. just wet it, apply hairspray/mousse, and keep it in a bun until dry.
