interview for med school... straight hair layered till the middle of my back
Hair for interview...straight and down or ponytail?
Without knowing what you look like it is hard to say. As an HR professional I would say that the most important thing is to look neat and groomed. Some hair can look very mature pulled back while other hair can look very messy hanging down. Whatever look you go with, choose one that is professional (ask a friend for a second opinion), understated (no crazy scrunchies!) and one that you won't muss with during your interview (be comfortable). Good luck!

You want to look serious and like a doctor. You can't run around the hospital with your hair flying everywhere. I would go with the ponytail, but not like a kid. hard to say without seeing a face, but low on the head (near the nap of the neck), with hair combed very straight is nice. I think it adds a classic touch to wrap some hair around the ponytail band to hide it.
