I have very straight hair, it does have some body, but not any curl or wave to it so I can't scruch it or anything. I got a chin-length razor cut about 6 months ago, and I'm REALLY trying to grow it out so I don't want to get it cut at all, but it's at that really aweful in-between-stage, I do ponytails, braids, and sometimes pigtails but even those look dumb sometimes , and I look like a little kid. so I really need something new to do with my hair. the layers are grown out and it's at that awkward length where it looks crappy down. so yeah.... any help would be SO appreciated! thanks!

Every two months or so I would go to get your hair cut and ask for about one to one and a half inches taken off. When you cut your hair a little it encourages your hair to grow and it will help to get it grow out faster. It will also allow your hair to look better in the in between stages so it doesn't look ratty or stringy.

maybe you can put a nice headband, or put your hair up in a half ponytail with hair still down. hope this helps.

Hair grows approximately half an inch a month. Unfortunately you are going to have to wait until it gets longer. You can try taking folic acid to promote hair growth and massage your scalp daily to stimulate blood flow and hair growth. Good luck!

Have you thought about hair extensions? You can get the ones that you can put in your self.. There is also the pony tail hair pieces. It will give you a different look with longer and fuller hair. They can be really cute if you match the hair color just right. Sally Beauty has them for sale and they don't cost that much.

I got a Paige boy cut last summer and have been growing my hair back since and I found that just a little gel and a blow drier is the best way to go....
looks natural and actually kinda cute...
