How can I get my straight hair into wavy?

My hair is naturally pin straight, and i'd do anythingggg to make it wavy! I've tried braiding it, scrunching it, curling it and running my fingers throught it, but that hasnt helped. Please, any ideas?

Right after taking a bath, dry your hair. When it's just a bit damp, rub some setting product in the strands evenly. Hold all your hair up in a ponytail and then start twisting. Twist the whole bunch round and round until it starts curling up near your head. Let it curl around to form a twisted bun. Keep it that way with a hair tie or scrunchie. Sleep with your hair that way or keep it for at least 2 hours. When you're ready to let it down, blast it first with a hairdrier (still in a bun) until it's all hot. Wait for the hair to cool and then take off the hairtie. Comb the curls out. If it's too puffy, smooth down with a little hairwax.

Your hair will stay wavy until your next shower.
