Wash and condition your hair.
Squeeze the excess water out. To scrunch it, you want it damp but not soaking wet or dripping.
Wrap your hair in a small towel. Do not rub your hair at all with the towel. What you can do is wring it within the towel if the ends are still dripping.
Comb your fingers or a wide-tooth comb through your hair and make a part as best as you can. Don't worry if it's not perfect.
Spray hairspray in your hair. Put it near the middle and bottom of your hair. Putting it too close to your roots will cause it to look greasy and weighed down.
Turn your head upside down so that your hair is hanging down. This step is optional and some might prefer to skip it.
Put gel in your hands and rub them together to spread the gel.
Grab a small handful of hair by the ends and push it up toward the head. Hold it in place for a few moments while aiming the hair dryer at it to 'set' the gel/mousse/hair spray.
Repeat this all over your head, reapplying the gel every time. Keep in mind that small handfuls yield tighter waves and large handfuls create full, loose waves.
For best results, use shampoo, conditioner, and products (gel, mousse, hairspray, etc.) that specifically define curls.
Don't put too much gel in your hair in one spot because once it dries, it will turn white and flaky.
Don't even think about brushing your hair after you've scrunched it. You will look like you got electrocuted.

i have a hair dryer attachment. its either a diffuser or the opposite of that. its a big circle and it has little pegs sticking out of it. the brand of my hair dryer is conair infinite i think. and to scruch your hair you scrunch it all up when your hair is wet , and you leave it until its dry

no it wont if ure hair is naturally striaght then u will have to use curler s or hot irons

if your hair is really straight u cnt gt curly hair wiv out using tongs. for mouse to be effective you gota hav a bit of a wave there to begin wiv. or u cud consider a perm my frend with straight hair did that n nw she has the option of curly n if she gets bord straight hair (after she straightens it!!) hope dis helps

it depends on what ur hair is like. mine is very heavy and naturally straight so curling products dont work on my hair. u may as well give it ago but if its 4 a party or summat try it out first 2 see if it does work

sorry no curls for you not unless you get a pem or use curlers no mousse or any products will work and ppl saying use a diffuser dont they are designed for natural curly hair.
try and get a loose prm that way you can have curls or not
