Can you scrunch hair if you have straight hair?

I have dead naturally straight hair and the only product I have with me right now is Garnier Fructis Style XXL Volume Thickening Mousse. Can someone explain to me how I would scrunch my hair?

i have straight hair too and the best thing for my hair to get scrunched nicely is salt water. You have to get your hair damp and use a scrunchening gel, loreal sold a really good one but i think they disowned it. If you want you can try water first it should also scrunch just fine, i just prefer the salt water better. If you have a salt water pool thats good, if u dont and have to make your own salt water be careful because as your hair dries there will be salt in your hair. so i guess if you have to just have to mix it good.

put product in and loosely braid oyur hair for hour then unbraid flip hair over and scrunch up again

Just add your mousse from root to tip when your hair is wet, it helps if your head is upside down, then just take a towel and grab handfuls of hair and sqeeze them close to your head. this should work, but its easier if your hair is naturally curly or wavy

yes of course you can scrunch your hair still all you do is put your mousse in and get hairspray too put in wet or dry and let dry on its own or blow dry it for even a scrunchier look

The only thing that will kinda get your hair scrunched is a sea salt texturizing spray. If you have ANY salt at home, you can mix it with warm water until it dissolves and spray it in wet hair. Use a diffuser on your blowdryer and put the diffuser under your hair and push the hair towards your head while drying. This will dry the hair in a wavy pattern. If your hair is as straight as you say it is, it probably won't stay wavy for very long. Another way to do it is to get a waving iron. These work pretty well on straight, smooth hair. This will give you a natural wavy look if you put some texture cream in your hair after waving it.

I've done hair for a long time. If you have straight hair without

wave you really can't scrunch to get curl, but if your hair isn't

to heavy and has a good cut you could put volumizing

mousse on the roots. Blow your hair dry to get some volume

and use a 1 inch curling iron all over then use good spray.

you'll get the same effect as scrunched hair. You could also

get a perm and have less work.

Take hair in medium size pieces, scrunch and pin each section with bobby pins. Leave in overnight, take out.

Ok it's very easy to scrunch your hair and it comes out great.First before you go to sleep take a shoer and brush out your hair.Then add some moose to it and scrunch away.Afterwards hair spray it then put it up in a tight bun and hair spray that.Sleep on this.Then in the morning take down your hair and hair spray and scrunch away.lt may look bad when you take it down in the morning but it will get better each time you do it.But keeping it in a pony tail for an hour or too makes it look better.So good luck and i hope i helped. =D
