haha well i'm pinoy! i'm sorta like you, but i'm have white. i use frizz ease by john frieda. and i straighten my hair[make sure its completely dry!] and i don't really think that the european blood is the blame. my mom has sosmewhat frizzy hair and she's the filipino on. hope i helped fellow sister! lol jk jk

It's called a Japanese hairstraighten. Google it, it is a permanent straightening technique that leaves the hair smooth ond frizz free, put isnt as damaging as a chemical perm. It's permanent and grows out.

Haha. This is gonna sound funny but I'm the youngest in my family [filipino, btw] and all of them have straight a** hair and I am the only one stuck with slightly curly to wavy hair. What hairstylist had told was to slack off on the shampoo and more on the conditioner and wash only every other day. Also, if you're short on money for a Salon straightening/rebonding, I suggest you invest on a straightening iron [ceramics works best], a straightening cream/solution such as John Freida's Wind Down [But I use Got2b Cracy Sleek because it also provides thermal protection from the iron].

Thermal protection is CRUCIAL so you wont have to deal with burnt or dried up hair later.

After ironing, let it sit in for a while before applying an anti-frizz serum like Crystal Film. Small amounts wil do.

Caucasion hair tends to be less circular, moving towards oval cross section while a black person's hair in cross section is very much flattened. These microscopic cross sections will cause Asian hair to be very straight, a black persons hair to be very kinky and in between, a white persons hair to be wavy.
