How to make my permed hair straight?

I got a perm in June. The hairdresser told me that because my hair was so thin and fine that it might not even stay in a whole month. Well, it's still here. I have about two inches of straight hair at the top where it's grown out, but the rest of my hair is still frizzy and curly. Is it possible to straighten it without another perm or hair straighteners?

Even good ol hot oil treatments...please don't use those cheaper shampoos like v-o5 etc,,,it tears your hair up....believe it or not...test and proved......head and shoulders works great,,,shampoo and conditioner...you don't have to have dandruff...plus you want to change at times, due to build up on the hair and if you take medicine it too builds up on your hair...

Its frizzy due to dryness...

Use a conditioner, then leave it in....comb it in to get into the roots and ends...since you don't want it curly.....

avoid alcohol products as hair-spray,,,mousse...or gels....

(alcohol free products they do have for these products though)

The mousse to use would be frizz-ease...the silver can...put it from end to roots, of course after you have rinsed the conditioner out..

only iron DRY hair, not wet or damp

lay a towel on the floor, lay down with you hair out on the towel....and iron it flat. It will only last until you wash it, and you will have to straighten it every time you wash.....

you have to wait for the perm to grow out

There are many products that you can get to improve your hair with your without a straightener! (balm, syrum) I have the same problem with my hair! Bedhead has really good products that will keep your hair smooth and keep the frizz out! I forget the name, but its in a tall lime green can/bottle!!! Using a straightener always gives your hair an extra nice sleek look to it!
