I do to,and mine is baby soft (thin) so it wont even hold a barret. looks just like my avatar LOL.. its a lot of work and I only do it on special occasions, use lots of moose when hair is damp and then put in curlers, when hair is dry use moose and a curling iron, spray with hair spray while hair is in curling iron, another easy one is after washing hair put in moose, then put in braids, or twist hair and tie, etc.. this is best before bed, then the morning undo ties and use fingers to untangle any tangles. these all I have done, and they work for me, good luck

Apart from making your own curls,. with an iron, you can get get a perm at the salon..

That will last long a time and be a little more damaging for your hair though.

If you have tried the curling iron, rollers, and wash and set then the next thing to do is get a perm but let a professional do it for you. Good luck!

You could try rag curling or pin curling to give yourself curls.

With some hairspray or something they should hold for a day, but they're not permanent. I think the only way to have curls that don't go away at all is to get a perm, like someone else mentioned.

My hair used to be stick straight and quite fine and getting it to hold a curl was a lot of work. I found that the best thing for me was to start with wet hair, add regular hair gel and/or spray gel, and use rags to set the curls overnight. (This site: http://www.hairboutique.com/tips/tip049.... has a pretty good description of how to set your hair with rags; having a friend help you will make it even easier). Once the rags are in, spritz with hairspray; if your hair's still damp in the morning use a hairdryer to finish them off. I found that a standard cotton pillowcase was the right size to yield enough strips for my hair and the fabric was a good texture. Hope it works for you!

Product would be of some assistance. I know "Bed Head" has a lot of great products just make sure to get something light like a spray gel or foam. Less is more with these salon products such as "Bed Head" so work small amounts in your hand and then through your hair. Read the directions and follow them. Also try cocktailing two or more products together to get your results. The sponge curlers are great because you hair is thin and it would be less damaging than an iron or hot rollers.
