Ppl often say "try ironing it.." "iron it.." when sum1 asks how to have straight

with "ironing" it do they mean by actually gettin it straight using an iron (the 1 for clothes lol) ?or a hair straghtner like CHI? sorry 4 ma ignorance lol i was juss wonderin

Ppl often say "try ironing it.." "iron it.." when sum1 asks how to have straight hair..but..

back in the 70's girls used actual clothes irons to straighten their hair, thats where the term came from!

however, it is absolutly terrible for hair, and nowadays, the term means using a straightening iron specifically for hair. you can find one any place that sells curling irons, and they sort of look the same, except the straightening one has two flat plates that you put the hair between instead of a round barrel.

No not the one for clothes. A hair straightner.

a hot hair straightener...an iron would probably burn your face/scalp

Hair straighteners dry out the hair and sometimes burn it. a hair straightening product is best .sold at drug stores and wal mart . wash it in /.
