since it's the summer i sorta dont wanna use my straightener. I was wondering if there was like a cream/gel that you can put in your hair so it can dry straight.? My hair naturally is like a bit frizzy/curly.

not that i know of. but if you dry your hair after a shower with a round brush and pull your hair away from your head as you're drying it, it'll be straight

Haven't heard of any such thing. You may have to use the straightener or a blow dryer or just leave your hair as is.

It probably won't work. It may make it a little straighter than normal, but it won't be super straight like you want it. There's nothing wrong with using a straightener in summer, I would just do that.

I live in South Beach, and i have the same type of hair that you wrote you had, and i've tried all the gels and creams and sprays and shampoos there is to try, from sickly expensive to the cheapie drug store ones.
Girl, NOTHING WORKS.
I like to call my Paul Mitchell Smoothing Iron my best friend.
It doesn't damage, and keeps your hair straight in midst of all this humidity and the beach.

you can always try straightening shampoos or go to a salon and get chemicals put in your to keep it straight
How to get straight hair.?

My hair is very thick, curly, and frizzy. I can't even use a cream and a blow dryer to get my hair straight. I still have to use my straightener. There are products that make it easier, however. Try the Matrix Sleek and Straight series. It's for sale at any Matrix salon. It's expensive, but good stuff.
You could also try chemically straightening your hair. However, if you dye your hair that could do a lot of damage. If you decide on that get it done professionally. The box stuff is no good.
Oh yeah, and the girl below that said to spray something on your hair to protect it from humidity. That stuff usually doesn't work. I'm not trying to dis her, but typically with my hair that spray doesn't work. I've tryed different brands, and nothing seems to keep my hair straight.
I think your best bet is going to the salon and getting it pulled straight or chemically straightened.

You can go to the salon and have your hair straightened. This will last for a couple months, so you don't need to use a straighening iron every day.

John Frieda makes a straightening like shampoo/conditioner. But it's rather pricey, but there are other shampoos and conditioners that are made to help straighten your hair that could be helpful..Just check out your shampoo aisle.
Though, I really don't think with natural curly/frizzy hair it's going to work all that well without a straightener, but I understand why you don't want to use it during the summer.
Here's a tip, use a protecting spray just before straightening. I use Tresemme's heat protecting spray and it works fabulously, but the brand really doesn't matter. What it does is adds nutrients and vitamins to your hair that blow drying and straightening dries out. And once you use the straightener, it sort "cooks" the vitamins into your hair, thus protecting it.
Best of luck!

spend a couple of dollars in a hair salon and get your hair straighted the rite way I experimented with relaxers for very corky hair and endup with spaguetti like hair , after 1 month my hair was falling crazy!
How to get straight hair.?
you can do japanese hair straightening. then you won't have to straighten it. if you want it to be permanently straight. if not then when you take a shower comb your hair until it is dry. it will be wavyish. i hope my advice helps
