Why is it that people with curly hair want straight hair... and people with straight hair want curly

...and they literally spend HOURS trying to defy nature??? I could see once in a while, change is nice. In fact, I straighten my hair maybe once or twice a year just for a change of pace, but it looks unnatural. It's puffy and frizzy and God-forbid I run into some high humidity. Same with straight hair that is curled with rollers or even a perm. It looks fake AND it takes FOREVER to do!!!

So, what's the point???

Why is it that people with curly hair want straight hair... and people with straight hair want curly hair????

I have no idea...theres a girl who went to my school with really curly hair. Except for the last day of school, she ALWAYS straightened it...It looked HORRIBLE. Her hair looked fried and she had so many spilt ends. It looked so unhealthy. I too have no idea why people spend so long trying to change their hair. Your hair is so much shinier and healthier if you keep it the way it is!

just a change from what they are used to i guess.

Why is it that people with curly hair want straight hair... and people with straight hair want curly hair????

Because they cant accept what god gave them and be happy.

its like that old saying... you want what you can't have... it doesnt only apply to love and relationships but to hair! :)

Why is it that people with curly hair want straight hair... and people with straight hair want curly hair????

People get tired and bored of the way they look so they want a change.

i dont like my straight hair cuz its so boring ( =

instead of straightening you hair, try a hairdo if what you want is to change.

people are not happy with there hair cause, if they would be, they'd spend their time obsessing about stuff that matters

Why is it that people with curly hair want straight hair... and people with straight hair want curly hair????

you always want what you can't have.

Why is it that people with curly hair want straight hair... and people with straight hair want curly hair????

We always want what we cannot have..... but there are shampoos and hair products that help us achieve, silky straight hair or curly with volume, yes it takes a bit longer to achieve the look we want, but its worth it :)

I dont think there really is a point. Personally, i have very curly hair and everyone is always bugging me to straighten it, but I like it just as it is. God designed you to have what kind of hair he wanted you to have and u should just be happy with that.

Why is it that people with curly hair want straight hair... and people with straight hair want curly hair????

Thats what I don't understand :S

Why is it that people with curly hair want straight hair... and people with straight hair want curly hair????

some people are never happy with the way they look, although a change can cheer you up, and hair is the easiest way to do it! Hair grows back or can be re-done if you dont like it, but what about boob jobs etc- they are stuck with them or a big bill, just for the sake of change

Why is it that people with curly hair want straight hair... and people with straight hair want curly hair????

People are never happy with what they have. They want to change so they will look better. So people dye their hair or sstraighten it or something.

Perhaps this is where the term, "grass is always greener on the other side," came from?
