How can you get natural looking curls/ waves with super straight hair?

my hair is really straight and it takes a lot of product to make it hold a curl. whenever i curl my hair it never looks natural and the curls are either really tight or theyre loose and only last a small amount of time. how can i get natural looking waves or curls?

try it on a day when you had something

important or where you couldnt shower in

the morning right away incase it didnt work for you.

at night RIGHT before you go to bed,

shower and while your hair is still soaking

wet, not dripping, put moose in your hair

only a small amount and almost scrunch your hair.

tie it in a messy bun on top of your head

and wrap more pony tail's around it (about 3 or 4)

to make creases in the bun.

when you wake up take it out,

fix it on how you want to wear it.

put either moose or gel in it to make it curl more

and blow dry it.

then hair spray it!

use a curl enhancing shampoo and conditioner and blowdry with a diffuser connected and scrunch in the process....sometimes sleeping on it helps them look more natural too

theres this got2B freezinng hold hairspray type thing.. not sure what it is, but once i discovered it it was amazing. You can do ANYTHING to your hair and it wont change it. Its not sticky or hard, it isnt even noticable. My hair is exactly the same, and after i curl it, (i do mine with a straighner, you just do it really slow, except instead of going down you flip it, so it loks like your going to wrap it around. Pull down slowly, then when you get to the bottom release. Spray each section, it looks greattt:)!

If you what waves braid your hair in small braids while it is wet before going to bed. In the morning it when you take out the braids it will be wavy.
